Bus Changes C84 Nantwich to Chester

There has been a lot said about the existing Arriva 84 bus service changing from every 30 mins to hourly. We have received emails suggesting that this will cause difficulty for many wishing to travel in either direction from Tarvin. The 82 service (Chester-Northwich) that also runs through Tarvin is not affected by this change. The 84 changes take effect from December 27th. The service from Tarvin to Chester for example changes to 38 mins past the hour BUT every hour.

All is not lost!

Even if the publicity seems virtually non-existent we have managed to track down a notice that there will be a NEW service along the existing 84 route operated by Routemaster Bus Services Ltd ( not Arriva) starting on Jan 4th 2016. Click here for timetable details. As you can see this will be in the centre of Tarvin at 5 mins past the hour every hour.

So from Jan 4th 2016 it looks as though we will be back to the current situation. with 84 buses running every 30 mins to Chester from Tarvin.
