Cheshire in the 1920s – History Day

The Cheshire Local History Association are holding a History Day this coming Saturday October 7th at the Grange Theatre in Hartford.

There is a full programme for the day with presentations from a range of experts on the local history of the county, including -

Linda Webb – 'Life in the 1920s Hoole Urban District'
Valda McDonald – 'Schools in the ecclesiastical parish of Daresbury'
Patricia Onslow-Macaulay – 'Huxley & Hargrave W.I. in the 1920s'
Mike & Maggie Taylor – 'Thelwall's Millenary Celebrations and its Legacy'
