Question 1 of questions posed to our Parliamentary Candidates :
"With a large number of housing developments and an ageing population in the rural areas, if you are elected in May how will your party ensure that Tarvin residents have easy access to good health care whether it is GP Services, Dentists, Hospitals, or specialist services?"
Conservatives: Both Leighton and The Countess of Chester hospitals have received significant investment & GP practices will be getting an extra £5 million to expand GP opening hours. They will increase spending by £8billion of which the Health Trust will get its fair share
Lib Dem: We need to ensure developers pay to help ease pressures on services. Need to re-instate rural transport provision to help access facilities. Also need to improve broadband as more services move to online only, currently Eddisbury ranks 601 out of 650 constituencies in the UK.
UKIP: Has pledged an additional £12billion to the NHS, and, committing funds to redevelop local infrastructure, some of this will be funded by the scrapping of HS2.
