FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The Commission has now completed its review of Cheshire West and Chester.
The changes proposed for Cheshire West and Chester Council must now be implemented by order subject to Parliamentary scrutiny. A draft Order — the legal document which brings into force the recommendations — will be laid in Parliament. The draft Order will provide for new electoral arrangements for Cheshire West and Chester to be implemented at the local elections in 2019.
There will be no changes to the Tarvin& Kelsall ward but there will be 5 fewer Councillors in total but still leaving 70 councillors. Full details and a map showing the various constituencies is available here
