On Friday August 4th at 11.00am the world-famous Manchester Camerata will be at the Community Centre! – or at last the "Camarata in the Community" section is. Their press release says:
DIGITAL NATIVES
Are you a Digital Native? Are you an intrepid user of the internet, or does using the internet give you the fear?
Have you been caught out by unscrupulous internet horrors?
Don't Panic!
A group of young people have been working with musicians and dramatists from Manchester Camerata, to create a new musical theatre piece warning of the dangers of the internet, and the positives which can be gained from using it safely. Come along and let them demystify it all.
The session is free to all who would like to come along. It is particularly aimed at older people but should be a wonderful opportunity for anyone who regards the internet somewhat warily or who wants to get the most out of the technology safely.
Do come along for what promises to be a unique event in the village. This is the first time such a prestigious musical organisation has been to visit us. Refreshments will be provided.
