The Parish Council has agreed a precept increase of 2% for the financial year which begins on 1 April 2019. This means that the share of Council Tax received by the PC, payable by residents of a Band D property, will be £32.92, compared to £32.27 in the current year.
This will be the first increase in the PC precept for three years. The money raised by the precept will be used by the PC to maintain current standards of service, to invest in improvements and also to undertake some minor but important tasks which are really the responsibility of Cheshire West and Chester Council but which CWaC currently does not have the resources to do.
