Serious collision on the M6 northbound

Fire and rescue crews are at the scene of a road traffic collision on the northbound M6 just north of Sandbach Services.

Five heavy goods vehicles are involved and two people are trapped in vehicles. The carriageway has been closed while this incident is being dealt with. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
