St Andrews Women's Group

Thankyou to everyone who attended and took part in our first meeting of 2023.

Sharing our love of reading was a pleasure with readings and poems from our favourite collections. From extremely humorous extracts to serious and, even a little risqué, it was good to see so many people taking part and sharing their recommendations with friends in an entertaining and relaxed atmosphere.

Followed by tea, coffee and Mairi's home made biscuits a very pleasant evening was enjoyed by all.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday March 1st at 7pm in the Parish Room when our speaker will be Gail Shearer, Chester Tour Guide, whose subject will be Important Women in Chester Over the Last 2000 Years
