At our June meeting Susan Ross-Taylor from the Ashworth Time Bank came to speak to us
Although I think many of our members had heard of the Time Bank quite a number had no idea how it worked. This was soon explained by Susan and she spoke of how holistic complimentary therapies are being used more and more.
A very interesting and thought provoking evening!
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 2nd July when we will be off to the Bluebell Cafe for afternoon tea. There will be no meeting in August but on Wednesday 3rd September we will start our Women's Group year with the AGM.
If you would like to give us a try do come along on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 p.m. in the Parish Room next to St Andrew's Church. You do not have to belong to St Andrew's to come to our meetings, and for £2.00 which includes Tea/Coffee and biscuits it makes a really varied, interesting and friendly evening.
