St Andrew's Women's Group May Meeting

Our May meeting was a talk on fair trade given by Penny Hennessey. She explained to the group how the concept of fair trade started and how over the years it has developed.

Penny set out a sales table of goods all produced under the Fairtrade and Tradecraft label and I think many members were surprised to see such a wide variety of products.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 3rd June with a talk on Action for Children.

If you would like to give us a try do come along on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 p.m. in the Parish Room next to St Andrew's Church. You do not have to belong to St Andrew's to come to our meetings, and for £2.00 which includes Tea/Coffee and biscuits it makes a really varied, interesting and friendly evening.
