This Saturday, 17th August, is the annual Gardening Society Horticultural Show which will be held as usual at Tarvin Community Centre

Horticultural Display

Being the showcase for the Society it will be interesting to see how good the produce is, especially after a bitter winter, and even colder spring . With many prizes at stake no doubt Tarvin gardeners will once again rise to the occasion and put on a remarkable display.

The displays will include :

  • Flowers
  • Vegetables
  • Produce (cakes, scones, jams etc)
  • Flower arranging;

There is also a special fun section for budding young gardeners of different age groups, who no doubt will be the prize winners of tomorrow

If you are feeling lucky there will be a raffle, and if after examining all the produce you are tired and hungry refreshments are available too!

coffee, drink, cafe, food

Photo Opportunity Tarvinonline would welcome your photographs of the produce and the winners. Send the photos (no larger than 250 kb) to editor@tarvinonline.org including your name and address, and we will put the best photos online
