The summer break is nearly over and we are all looking forward to starting the fun once again.

Now is a great time to join us if you are thinking of learning this fascinating game.

Lessons for beginners will start at Tarvin Community Centre on:

Tuesday Mornings 10am — 1pm from 6th September
Thursday Evenings 6.30pm — 9.30pm from 8th September

Please also come and join us if you currently play Mah-Jongg, you won't be disappointed. Three hours of fun and laughter with a great group of people.

If you would like to see what Mah-jongg is all about then you are also welcome to pop in at any of the sessions. We also meet and play at the George and Dragon pub on the last Monday of every month starting at 7.30pm.

Unlike many or our neighbouring villages, Tarvin has had no maps on display of our historic village centre Conservation Area. Tarvin Civic Trust thought that posting a display somewhere in the village centre might fit the bill. We considered display boards of all shapes and sizes but where would we put them?
