Tarvin Parish Council Round

Tarvin Parish Council has released the agendas for two important upcoming meetings, both of which are scheduled to take place on Monday evening.  (18th May)

Annual Meeting of the Parish,

This is a key event in the local democratic calendar, allowing residents an opportunity to engage with matters affecting the village. This will be followed directly by a regular monthly meeting of Tarvin Parish Council

The Annual Parish Meeting is a statutory gathering that must be held each year between the first of March and the first of June. It provides a forum for local residents to raise concerns, hear reports from the Parish Council and other local organisations, and engage directly with those responsible for representing the community.  It is distinct from the regular Parish Council meetings and is open to all residents of the parish.

The Parish Council meeting that follows is the formal decision-making body for Tarvin, covering matters such as local planning applications, finance, maintenance of community spaces, and correspondence with Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Residents are encouraged to review the published agendas ahead of the meetings and to attend if they wish to observe or participate. The agendas have been made available for public information by Mike Hassall, Clerk to Tarvin Parish Council, who can be contacted on 01829 741075 for further details.
