Stuart "Mac" McNeil Usually performs the role of compere or master of ceremonies at the Tarvin Christmas Market. As the market is"Virtual" this year, we will miss his vocal contribution to the market, so the Tarvin Christmas Market and Festival Group asked him if he would do something to get us in the Christmas mood. Mac has created this lovely rendition of A Visit from Saint Nicholas' for all ages.
An intro from Mac:
"Hello, Tarvin. Those of you who don't recognise me; I'm Mac. Normally at this time of year, you would normally find me compering at the Tarvin Christmas Market from the cold, windy and oft-times, wet steps of the Methodist Church.
Well, this year's market has been transferred to the internet for obvious reasons and it has become a "Virtual" Christmas market. This means that all of you can buy unusual gifts, but from the comfort of your own home just by clicking on the Tarvin Christmas Market on Tarvin Online.
Well, that makes my compering role rather redundant, so the organisers of the Tarvin Christmas Market have asked me to do this instead. Here's a poem for all you children – whatever your age, to get you in the Christmas mood.
