Ashton Hayes Theatre Club's next production is The Unmanageable Sisters by Michel Tremblay with performances at Tarvin Community Centre at 7.30pm in March on Tuesday 8th, Thursday 10th, Friday 11th and Saturday 12th.

The action takes place in "Ballymun, Ireland in 1974 and happiness is at Ger's fingertips.

She has Green Shield stamps, a million of them, and Ger Lawless has won them all!

But when 15 friends and family gather to help her to claim her winnings at a stamp sticking party, all bets are off!

During one fateful night, these determined women bring you into their lives in the ferociously funny "The Unmanageable Sisters".

A room jammed with a brood of busybodies with sharp eyes and clucking tongues can only spell trouble. The gleeful gossip could not be repressed and, one by one, astonishing secrets are revealed.

"The Unmanageable Sisters" is an astute synopsis of the plight of Irish women in the 1970s. Beholden to the church and their husbands.

The witty dialogue dances deftly amongst the complex interrelationships and through the poignant use of soliloquy we become privy to the private aspirations of each courageous woman."

You will rejoice, laugh, sigh, cry and celebrate with these marvellous women of Ballymun.

Tickets at £10 for adult and £8 for a student and can be booked at www.ahtc.org.uk
