Each year, the Parish Council organise the erection of a number of Christmas trees on holders fixed to the walls of shops and houses in the village centre. These are switched on in good time to contribute to the festive atmosphere at the Christmas Festival and Market and beyond.
The Council is pleased to announce that Broomheath Plantation has again agreed to donate the Christmas trees.
They are being delivered to the car park of the Red Lion on Saturday November 26th at 10am.
The Parish Council are calling for volunteers to help dress and erect the trees. A dozen or so pairs of extra hands should see things done by early afternoon.
If you can spare a few hours, please give Councillor Rob Ford a call on 07742 577 522.
