You said: "People are speeding through Mouldsworth village in the 30mph area."

We did: On the day of receiving the complaint PC Trow conducted speed enforcement on Station Lane and caught numerous motorists speeding, we will continue to monitor the location and take an active stance towards this problem when possible.

You said:"People are parking on Willington lane and are causing problems for the school run by parking carelessly. Cars are also speeding past the primary school."

We did: The location has been given regular attention and no parking problems found, highways have also been consulted regarding introducing double yellow lines but this was deemed unnecessary by the highways officers. PC Trow has also conducted speed enforcement on the approaches to the school and has dealt with a number of motorists for speeding offences.

You said:"Can we have a speed camera installed on the A51 in Duddon / Clotton."

We did: PC Trow has been consulting with our roads liaison officer and highways department for the installation of a layby to sight a mobile speed camera unit as a fixed camera cannot be installed due to policy reasons. The costs of the works are being presented to the local authorities for consideration.

You said:"Cars are speeding through Ashton Hayes village in the 30mph areas, people are using the village as a short cut to get towards the motorways."

We did:PC Trow has conducted speed enforcement on Church lane, Ashton Hayes and has dealt with a number of local residents for speeding offences. It was identified that the majority of those caught were local residents going about their daily routine.

You said: "Youths keep hanging around the Tarvin Woodland walk, we have had damage caused to the bird house and the schools bug hotel project, can you keep an eye on the location please?"

We did: PC Trow and PCSO Netherton have been patrolling the area on a regular basis and no further damage has occurred. Local youths have been engaged with.
